Get ready for Disney's Guardians of the Galaxy super ride


Get ready for the new super ride at Disney California Adventure Park scheduled to open on May 27. The new, highly anticipated Guardians of the Galaxy ride will provide all your superhero thrills in one place. In addition to the super ride, visitors will have access to live marvel superhero characters and kids will have the opportunity to train as superheroes. Other attractions in what is being called “summer of Superheroes”, include:

  1. Guardians of the Galaxy Dance Off. This rock and roll bash will get you into the groove where you can show off your dance moves.
  2. Black Widow -Heroic Encounter. Watch out for the Black Widow who will surprise you from time to time, rolling up in the armoured Avengers vehicle.
  3. Training school, where young superhero wannabes will learn how to be a superhero.

The hidden gem that is the Shaw Park Gardens was originally the location of the original Shaw Park garden Resort which is now located closer to the city center. The old hotel still remains and is sometimes used for guests who crave the natural environment. You will be taken to the top of the mountain by cab or tour bus. Once up there, you are able to take spectacular photos of the city below. After paying your $10.00 admission fee, you are assigned a tour guide who is very knowledge about the landscape and history of the garden. Our tour guide was the gardener. Natural wonders of the Bahamas – The Boiling Hole

Boiling Hole, Bahamas, Image credit Bahamas.com Google advanced images The Bahamas will leave you dumbstruck by the site of their natural wonders one of which is The Boiling Hole. Tidal conditions in the clear lake called the Boiling hole, created burps and bubbles. As the tide flows out to the sea, the water coming out of the cave causes bubbles on the surface.   When the tide flows inward, a whirlpool is created by the water rushing into the cave system. There is a boardwalk for viewing and a ladder to get closer to this wonder.   You may also get a glimpse of spy rays, baby sharks and the many birds nesting in the mangroves. The Boiling Hole is in Hepburn Town, Eight Mile Rock Grand Bahama Island.
