There are many great attractions and activities in Tamarindo Costa Rica. Tamarindo is a coastal town in the Guanacaste province in Costa Rica in Central America that has a lot to offer the visitor who is looking for a fun, activity filled vacation.

Attractions: There are many attractions to take on Tamarindo. Your only problem will be time. I will narrow it down to a few, but remember there are many more just as good or better.

  1. Las Baulas Marine National Park . Whether or not you are a confirmed nature lover, a visit to Las Baulas Marine National Park will wow you. If you are visiting between October and April you will see the world's largest group of nesting leatherback turtles. Take a tour through the luscious rain forests and get up close and personal with the iguanas and crocodiles. Well, not too personal.

  2. leatherback turtles The beautiful 2 mile long white sandy beach and vivid blue water, is not only for swimming. You can also catch a glimpse of the leatherback turtles and take in the magnificent views of the mountains and the two national parks that surround it.

  3. Surfing. Tamarindo is one of the most popular surfing destinations in Costa Rica and a magnet for surfers of all levels. It is a great place for the new or beginner surfer due to the wave patterns. Since they break regularly before reaching the beach, you are able to work your way up from the smaller to the more challenging waves. Snorkeling, sports fishing, scuba diving and sailing are also huge draws for tourists.

The Cattail Cafe at the Seven Clans Casino, Warroad MN - A Review

Cattail café Seven Clans Casino, Warroad, review - image Google The Cattail café is conveniently located next to the casino and across from the gift shop. Here you can grab breakfast, lunch or dinner on the go in an informal, pedestrian type setting. The food The menu at the Cattail has your usual burgers, fish and chips and chicken dinners. There is a marked absence of vegetables and coleslaw seems to be the closest thing to green you will see. Don't expect any special treatment if you are vegan or gluten free . You don't always get what is on the menu as it seems they are not always able to prepare what you ask for and bluntly tell you they can't get you what's on the menu without giving a reason. I ate there once and had the fish and chips which was okay. Service at the Cattail Service was mixed when I visited. The serving staff behind the counter were pleasant enough but not very accommodating. I asked if they had veggie burgers and the guy looked at

Natural wonders of the Bahamas – The Boiling Hole

Boiling Hole, Bahamas, Image credit Bahamas.com Google advanced images The Bahamas will leave you dumbstruck by the site of their natural wonders one of which is The Boiling Hole. Tidal conditions in the clear lake called the Boiling hole, created burps and bubbles. As the tide flows out to the sea, the water coming out of the cave causes bubbles on the surface.   When the tide flows inward, a whirlpool is created by the water rushing into the cave system. There is a boardwalk for viewing and a ladder to get closer to this wonder.   You may also get a glimpse of spy rays, baby sharks and the many birds nesting in the mangroves. The Boiling Hole is in Hepburn Town, Eight Mile Rock Grand Bahama Island.

A visit to the Pirate Museum in Nassau Bahamas

pirate museum, Nassau, Bahamas, image Ashauntae Located in the heart of downtown Nassau is the Pirate Museum and a must see for tourists who want a glimpse into the history of piracy especially as it relates to the Caribbean.  Inside the museum you will find a true replica pirate ship which hosts most of the exhibits on two floors. Enter if you dare. It can be like entering a haunted house with sights and sounds of an era past on a pirate ship. The first room on the ship belongs to the ship's carpenter who had the most important job on the ship. The ship holds many historical facts about famous pirates, their conquests and their demise. There are replica jails, re-enactment image  of a gruesome surgery at sea, and other pirate artifacts. On the outside of the museum you can take your photo locked in the stocks. All in all it was a very informative experience.
